The other morning when getting ready for my day, I turned on my radio as I always do, and 89.1 was not coming in!??I realized that the station was having some sort of technical difficulty, but it made me think for a moment how different my family's life would be without positive Christian music and without 89.1 in our lives.
?
All my Christian life, God has seemed to speak to me through music.? My husband turned me on to 89.1 a few years ago, and now?our children who are 12 and 9 choose to listen to your station and the positive music you play.? The right song seems to come on, just when one of us need encouragement or an uplifting word, and we know that is no coincidence.
?
This summer?my mother unexpectedly had three cardiac arrests in a matter of a couple days and instantly my world seemed to be crashing around me.? Time after time as I would be driving to or from the hospital feeling discouraged and hopeless as my mom was unresponsive and in critical condition, Praise You in the Storm by Casting Crowns would come?through the speakers in my car as?89.1 was tuned in.? I feel God provided the words of the song for me at the right?time to encourage me and to tell me to trust Him and to praise Him through?this storm that was surrounding me.? I know nothing can take the place of God's Word.??Spending time with Him in His word, combined with?listening to?the music that you play, has?sustained me these last few months.? Thank you for being?a "voice" of encouragement to so many, including me.?
?
On a side note:? God brought my mom through her three cardiac arrests, has strengthened her and?she is?still here with us today.? She's getting stronger day by day, and I praise Him for what He has done!?
?
God bless you and the work you do!
